Information We Collect

Amarillo Logic ("we," "us," "our") is a software and consultancy company based in the Texas Panhandle. We build and maintain custom websites, web applications, Cloudflare Workers, automated workflows, and merchant point-of-sale software for our clients. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with our website, services, SMS communications, or Amarillo POS.

We collect the following types of information:

  • Contact information: Name, email address, phone number, and company name — provided voluntarily through our contact form, onboarding documents, or during SMS conversations.
  • Service data: Information related to the websites, applications, and workflows we build and maintain for you, including deployment status, domain information, and integration configurations.
  • POS and merchant data: Staff account details, business and location information, product catalogs, discounts, receipts, inventory-related records, and payment-related metadata generated when you use Amarillo POS (see “Amarillo POS” below).
  • Communications data: Records of SMS conversations, email exchanges, and support interactions with our team.
  • Technical data: IP addresses, browser type, and usage analytics from our website and web applications; device and app diagnostics needed to operate Amarillo POS securely.

Amarillo POS

Amarillo POS is our staff-facing point-of-sale application for in-person payments (including Tap to Pay on iPhone, Bluetooth card readers, and payment links). It is intended for merchants and their authorized staff, not for consumer social networking. Support for the app is available at amarillologic.ai/support.

Account and business information

When you create or use an Amarillo POS account, we process:

  • Staff sign-in details such as name, email address, role (for example owner, manager, or staff), and authentication credentials
  • Business profile data such as business name, locations, and onboarding / payments readiness status
  • Catalog, pricing, discounts, inventory-related supplier contacts you enter, and transaction receipts associated with your business

Sessions are stored securely on the device (including encrypted storage for tokens) so staff can return to the register. Where available, Face ID or Touch ID may be used only to unlock a saved staff session on that device — not to authorize card payments by itself.

Device permissions

Depending on how you take payments, Amarillo POS may request:

  • Location (when in use): to discover and connect Stripe Terminal card readers
  • Bluetooth: to pair and communicate with Bluetooth card readers
  • Local network: to discover readers on your store network
  • Camera: to scan product barcodes at the register and when assigning SKUs. Camera frames are processed on the device and are not uploaded.
  • Face ID / biometrics: to unlock a saved staff register session
  • Push notifications: for Tap to Pay onboarding, readiness, and related operational alerts (for example payment-link paid notices)

We do not use these permissions for advertising tracking or cross-app tracking. Location is not used to build a continuous location history for marketing.

Payments

Card-present and related payments are processed by Stripe (including Stripe Terminal and Tap to Pay on iPhone where enabled). Card numbers and sensitive payment credentials are handled by Stripe according to Stripe’s terms and privacy practices; Amarillo Logic does not store full card PAN data on our servers. We may store payment metadata needed to operate your register (for example amounts, status, receipts, Stripe identifiers, and business/location association).

How we use POS data

We use POS-related information to:

  • Operate checkout, catalog, staff access, and reporting for your business
  • Connect your account to payment processors and complete onboarding
  • Send operational notifications you enable
  • Provide support, prevent fraud or abuse, and maintain security
  • Comply with legal and financial record-keeping obligations

Merchant responsibility

If you are a merchant using Amarillo POS, you are responsible for how you collect and use customer information at the point of sale under applicable law. Amarillo POS is provided as a tool for your business operations; your own customer-facing privacy notices may also apply to your shoppers.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services for you
  • Respond to your support requests, questions, and inquiries
  • Send you service updates, maintenance notifications, and project status communications
  • Process payments and manage billing (including card-present payments through Amarillo POS / Stripe)
  • Communicate with you about your projects, deployments, and workflows
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

SMS and Mobile Communications

If you have opted in to receive SMS messages from Amarillo Logic, the following terms apply to our mobile messaging program:

Opt-in and consent

You opt in to receive SMS messages from Amarillo Logic by either (1) checking the unchecked-by-default SMS consent box on our contact form at amarillologic.ai/contact and providing your mobile phone number (consent is optional and not required to submit the form or purchase), or (2) texting START, YES, UNSTOP, OPTIN, or SUBSCRIBE to our designated support number (+1 806-513-3658) and receiving a single automated confirmation. By opting in, you consent to receive customer care text messages from Amarillo Logic related to your websites, applications, workflows, support requests, and account management. We do not use verbal-only, paper, or QR opt-in for this program.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your support activity and service needs. Clients with active projects or open support tickets may receive multiple messages per week. Clients with stable, low-maintenance products may receive messages only occasionally (monthly or less). You will not receive more messages than necessary to provide customer care and support.

Message and data rates may apply

Standard message and data rates may apply to messages sent to and received from Amarillo Logic. Your mobile carrier may charge you for text messages according to your wireless plan. Amarillo Logic does not charge for SMS messages.

Opt-out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or CANCEL to any message from Amarillo Logic. Upon opt-out, your mobile number will be removed from our campaign and you will receive no further SMS messages unless you re-enroll. A single confirmation reply will be sent to confirm your opt-out.

HELP

You may reply HELP to any message from Amarillo Logic to receive a response containing our business name, support contact information, and a reminder of the opt-out keywords.

Carriers and supported networks

Our SMS program operates through Twilio and is registered under the A2P 10DLC framework. Messages are delivered through major US wireless carriers, though delivery is not guaranteed on all networks.

Non-Sharing of Mobile Numbers

We do not share, sell, rent, or lease your mobile phone number to any third party. Your mobile number is used solely by Amarillo Logic to deliver customer care messages related to your services. We do not provide your mobile number to advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing list services. Your mobile number is stored in our systems for the sole purpose of delivering SMS communications you have opted in to receive and is removed from our SMS program upon opt-out.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use third-party services (such as Twilio for SMS, Cloudflare for hosting, and Stripe for payments) that process data on our behalf to deliver our services. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and are prohibited from using it for other purposes.
  • Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government regulation, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (TLS), access-controlled infrastructure, and secure secret management. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as you are an active client or as necessary to provide our services. SMS consent records are retained with timestamps and opt-in source for compliance audit purposes. If you request deletion of your data, we will remove it from our active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business record-keeping.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal exceptions)
  • Opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message
  • Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@amarillologic.ai or by calling (806) 433-0154.

Children's Privacy

Our services are directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page, and we will notify active SMS subscribers of significant changes affecting their messaging program.
